Boise, Idaho – On Saturday, the Idaho Republican Party State Central Committee elected Damond Watkins of Idaho Falls to the post of National Committeeman. “I look forward to serving with Damond on the Republican National Committee. Damond is a person of many talents and the Idaho Republican Party will be well served with Damond as our National Committeeman,” stated Norm Semanko, Idaho Republican Party Chairman.
In response to his election, Damond Watkins said, “I am honored to serve as the elected National Committeeman of the Idaho Republican Party. The principles that guide the Republican Party are the basis for my political involvement. I believe that they are enduring, and as long as we cling to them, our pursuit of limited government will always be the right policy.”
